4b) Why are you most interested in the topic of argument selected? I am most interested in the topic that I picked because I really want to find out a good enough reason on why people feel that medical marijuana can not be used for recreational use.

ADHD

1. What is the best course of treatment for ADHD? Medical stimulants.
2. Do you believe ADHD is an actual psychiatric disorder? Why or why not?  No because it just makes the attention span shorter which isn't technically a psychiatric disorder. It is rather a problem of focusing.
3. Are children being overmedicated? Explain your answer. I don't have children.

MEDICAL MARIJUANA

EXPERIMENTAL AIDS TREATEMENT

1. Should pharmaceutical companies test experimental AIDS drugs on pregnant women and their unborn children? No, they should test them on monkeys because people are obviously more important than a monkey and both have the same qualitites.
2. How should pharmaceutical companies balance testing experimental AIDS drugs with the research subject’s well-being?by gurenteeing that if any defects are present that they will fix them.

BIRTH CONTROL AVAILABILITY

1. Should parents be notified if their teenager seeks birth control? Why or why not? Yes so that the parent can understand what their child is going through and try to provide useful information.
2. Will the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s decision to expand the availability of emergency birth control pills for 17-year-olds increase teen promiscuity? Explain. Yes so that people can make the decision of their own on whether or not to take it or not.
3. Should pharmacists be able to refuse to dispense birth control based on their moral or religious beliefs? Why or why not?Yes because if one breaks their beliefs because they are basically ordered too then it is unfair.
4. Should free birth control be available to students in public high schools? Explain Yes, BUT not without a parental consent.

Cases For Or Against "X"

 1.AIDS- I am obviously against AIDS. I feel that everybody should help out and try to donate for an AIDS cure. Aids is one of the most deadliest diseases that kills thousands of people per year. Aids is horrible. Protective sex should be more explained or just shared with the world more so that AIDS can eventually be stopped or helped.

2. ADHD- I am for ADHD medication because it does help patients who infact have the disorder to encounter it. The downside of the medication is that overdiagnosis or over treatement of it can result to death. I am for it only if people know what they are doing in order to try to help the ones who have adhd. It is a serious issue because in the past 9 years, the rate of people who are developing ADHD has increased dramatically and we can help decrease it saving others if finding a permanent cure is found that is less harmful to the body and more stronger then todays medication used to help these patients.

3. BIRTH CONTROL-  I am for Birth Control. When used correctly, Birth Control has a failure rate of less than one percent. Injections, implants, intrauterine devices and sterilization are also considered reliable for preventing pregnancy. Condoms for men, which can be used both for prevention of pregnancy and protection against sexually transmitted disease, are moderately effective. Typically, 15 out of 100 women whose partners use condoms will become pregnant during the first year of use. Results show that 86% of the time birth control works and that other 14% is proved to fail. The odd of getting pregnant while on birth control are vey rare but the reason that I am for birth control is because it is ones choice on whether to take it or not. People know that it can fail to work and that is their choice on whether or not to take it.

4. MEDICAL MARIJUANA- I am for medical marijuana because I feel that it is cruel to withhold the benefits of a safe natural substance from people who suffer from a variety of diseases of which many cannot be cured by pharmaceutical drugs. Addictive and deadly pain pills are FDA-approved, while marijuana is not which to me makes no sense. If something that is not harmful to others is in existence that can be used to cure people who are sick then I don't see why it should be illegal. It should be the persons choice to indulge the drug or not.

5. SPERM DONING- I am BOTH for and against sperm donning because I feel that It is not against religion or anything. I feel that If someone with the sex of either a lesbian or bisexual that wants a baby and can only have a baby by getting sperm from sperm donors that that  is fair because they can not have a baby any other way other then adoption. The reason why I am against Sperm Donning is because many things can go wrong including mixing up somebody's sperm. So, If someone wants to have a child who is African American with blue eyes and gets sperm that comes out to be an India or Chinese baby for example can make huge problems and tragedy's in the world that that person would have to live with fo the rest of there life.
